As of almost every every Muslim community boards on a debate on which day the Eid Al Fitr would be celebrated, this year sees the same difference.

First and formost important thing to be recommended is that there be an apex and authoritative Muslim body to issue a joint announcement and in absence of this the following may be recommended for the vast Muslim ordinary folks.

It is unnaccessay to go on squabbling over the day to be celebrated as Eid. Either day would be accepted by Allah as people believe one to be the 1st day of Shawwal whichever it may be according to one’s belief. Allah subhanahu wa ta’alla would not have any issue whatever the day taken as the 1st day of the month following the month of Ramadwaan as long as people do not intend to miss out their fast on an wanton desire. Taqwa, meaning the consciousness of Alla and sincerity to his deen Al Islaam, counts to Him and not a particular day.

Please celebrate the day you think and believe would be 1st day of Shawwal and let others do the day they think and believe to be the 1st day of Shawwal.

Calling each other ‘Deviated’ is just a form of begotry and social desease coming out of hatred and gealousy against each other and has actually no firm basis. The gurus of the factions tend to make a distinction of their group to stand out fistinctively and are able to retain their own group in their pocket loyal and submissive to them.

The squabling group are not benefit to the deem of Islaam. Please just abstain from participating in the squable.

Let the mosque and prayer establishment decide the day to be celebrated and the management also should allow the dissenting people to celebrate their day in the same establishment if thete be a dissenting one.
